Account & Login
How do I create an account?
Download the Storyie app from the App Store, then sign up using your Apple ID or Google account. The process takes less than a minute.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data:
- Send an email to support@storyie.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm deletion via email
Diary & Content
How do I make my diary public?
You can toggle the visibility of each diary entry:
- Open the diary entry you want to share
- Tap the eye icon button at the bottom of the screen
- When the icon shows an open eye, your diary is public
- Public diaries are viewable on the web at storyie.com
How do I edit my diary?
Open any diary entry and tap anywhere in the content area to start editing. Changes are saved automatically.
What happens if I accidentally delete a diary?
Currently, deleted diaries cannot be recovered. We recommend being careful when deleting content. A future update will include a trash feature with recovery options.
Privacy & Security
Is my data secure?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously:
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- We use industry-standard security practices
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties

Can others see my private diaries?
No. Private diaries are only visible to you. Only diaries you explicitly mark as "public" can be viewed by others.
Technical Issues
The app is running slowly
Try these steps:
- Close and restart the app
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Update to the latest version of the app
- If the issue persists, contact support
I'm having trouble logging in
If you're having login issues:
- Verify you're using the correct Apple ID or Google account
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing the app completely and reopening it
