Finally cracked that distributed caching bug that's been haunting our microservices for weeks. Turns out it was a race condition in our Redis cluster failover logic - classic. The satisfaction of seeing those error rates drop to zero was better than my morning cortado at Ritual.
Walked to work through Dolores Park today. The fog rolled in thick, which somehow made debugging feel more atmospheric. Started reading "Klara and the Sun" on my lunch break - Ishiguro's take on AI consciousness hits different when you're knee-deep in ML pipelines all day.
My new Planck keyboard arrived. The 40% layout is going to murder my productivity for a week, but the Zealios switches feel like typing on clouds. Worth the adjustment period.
Thinking about pivoting my side project from blockchain to edge computing. Web3 fatigue is real, and honestly, optimizing latency for IoT devices sounds way more interesting right now. Plus, less explaining crypto to my parents.
