”If we hypothetically overcame all the obstacles we already talked about (long distance, feelings cooling down after getting home, cultural diffs etc.), and by some miracle we'd become a functional couple... could you imagine leaving home te be together so far away?“

“Idk. It might be as I see more differences between us now”

“Tbh I’m worried as you’re highly social for me…I think even for regular standard”
2026/7/12日 04:58:13
“That's a difference for sure... Is that a big problem?”
2026/7/12日 04:58:36
“Maybe…But it’s just who you are. I think you’re just a quiet extrovert haha”
2026/7/12日 05:01:43
“I didn’t know you much. So can only know you by words. You’re quite opposite of antisocial lol”

“I'm not so happy about where this convo is heading... But it's important, you're right to tell me this”
2026/7/12日 05:06:10
“I wouldn't want you to feel bad in my world”
2026/7/12日 05:15:36
“What would you say about having a little world and peeking a bit into a larger one?”

“For the record, I expect myself to be the absolute priority of my partner’s life over anyone or anything else. And I offered that in return. ... If you choose to be in this with me, that’s a non-negotiable mindset you need to change. I’m not gonna do this if I’m same important to you as your other close friends. That doesn’t means cut off however. Don’t make me feel like you arranged all the plans first with your friends and I get to spend whatever left for me like fill-in. It should be otherwise if you want 65/35. I’m not just another new member of your big family you need to remember that.”

“Do you still remember the word you asked me, you asked if I’m willing to take risk with you. WITH you. Not throwing myself away for nothing.”

"Slightly peeking out" - I used soft words to not scare you off. It would really be out a lot. Basically it was a lie.
You asked me to throw my whole world away to be with you in the future, but you couldn't even be honest about who you are and what you want from me. I never wanted a perfect version of you. I just wanted to know the REAL you. That's the bottom line.
My decision about whether to make that life-changing commitment was based on a lie. When I was deciding whether to take this risk, whether to keep investing, and whether I believed this relationship was worth the risk, you didn’t tell me the full extent of risk itself.
I was asking you for information so I could decide whether I should keep bearing the cost of this relationship. And you, knowing that the real information might make me leave, actively softened it so you wouldn't lose me. Then you let me continue believing that version for more than a month, while we kept arguing about the very incompatibility that your softened version had hidden from me.
And after you broke up with me, you framed it as “soft words to not scare me off,” while placing a substantial amount of responsibility for the relationship's failure on me. You even rewrote the beginning of our story in a way that made it easier for you to live with what you had done.
I'm not scared of taking the risk. What hurts is realizing that what I agreed to was not what I actually ended up taking on.
It was not your decision to make.
